ADPI provided outsourced billing and accounts receivable management services to the emergency medical service industry. ADPI, based in Florida, addressed the need for dependable and effective billing, coding and collection services in compliance with complex healthcare regulations. ADPI was acquired by Intermedix in October 2006.

Advantage Outdoor

Headquarters: Houston, TX

Advantage Outdoor was a Houston-based outdoor advertising company operating approximately 5, 000 outdoor advertising display faces in markets throughout Texas and surrounding states. CapStreet acquired Advantage Outdoor with management and CEA Capital Partners in 1997. The company was acquired by Lamar Advertising in 2000.

American Tower Corporation

Headquarters: Houston, TX

American Tower was a wireless and broadcast communications infrastructure company. Its primary business was leasing antenna space on multi-tenant communication towers to wireless and broadcast companies. CapStreet invested in the company in 1994 and subsequently grew the operations to become the largest independent tower company in the U.S. The company completed an initial public offering in 1998.


Headquarters: Houston, TX

Cardtronics was an owner and operator of a nationwide network of automated teller machines in non-bank locations, including convenience stores, grocery stores and other high-traffic retail spaces. Cardtronics was the largest independent ATM network manager in the world. The company completed an initial public offering in 2007.

Distribution International

Headquarters: Houston, TX

DI was a value-added distributor of insulation, related specialty fabricated products, and accessory supplies in North America. Based in Houston, the company had 64 branch locations and provided its customers with mission-critical products and services across the commercial building, chemicals, energy, power, railcar and marine end markets.


Headquarters: Houston, TX

GHX was a leading value-added distributor of a wide range of industrial gaskets, hoses and related fluid sealing products. The company’s customers were involved in various industry sectors including refining, chemical/petrochemical, oil and gas, power generation and manufacturing. GHX was acquired by United Central Supply in 2012.

Independent Propane

Headquarters: Irving, TX

Independent Propane was the largest retail propane distributor in Texas and has branch locations in six other states throughout the southern United States. CapStreet acquired the company with management in 1991 and grew the company organically and through strategic acquisitions. Independent Propane was acquired by Inergy, L.P., in 2001.

Sprint Industrial

Headquarters: Houston, TX

Sprint was a leading provider of industrial equipment rentals used in turnaround and maintenance operations in the refining, petrochemical and oilfield service industries. Sprint’s product lines included (1) portable bulk liquid and solid storage tanks and (2) safety products used to monitor gas levels and provide oxygen to maintenance workers. Sprint was acquired by First Atlantic Capital in 2007.


Headquarters: Bryan, TX

Trajen was a leading provider of aviation support and logistics solutions to the general aviation market and the U.S. Department of Defense. In partnership with management, CapStreet increased the FBO network from 4 to 23 locations during its investment. In July 2006, Trajen was acquired by Macquarie Infrastructure Co. Trust (NYSE: MIC).

Travis International

Headquarters: Houston, TX

Travis was a value-added, wholesale distributor and fabricator of specialty products including post-tension cabling systems for residential and commercial foundations, industrial products, and specialized telecommunications equipment. CapStreet invested with management in 1999 and sold its interests in 2001.
