Switch and Data Facilities Company, Inc. (“Switch and Data”) was a data center company that provided network neutral interconnection and colocation services primarily to Internet-dependent businesses, including telecommunications carriers, Internet service providers, online content providers and enterprises. Switch and Data was sold to Equinix, Inc. in 2010.
